Paula Mixon, EA
Paula Mixon, EA, is enrolled to practice before the Internal Revenue Service and brings a deep well of tax knowledge to the firm. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from California State University, Northridge (CSUN). Paula retired from the IRS after 28 years of comprehensive experience in both Examination and Appeals, giving her a unique understanding of tax law, compliance, and dispute resolution. After leaving the IRS, she expanded her expertise through formal tax‑preparation training and several years with a major tax preparation firm. She later established her own practice, which has continued to grow steadily. Paula also represents taxpayers in IRS controversies, offering skilled guidance through audits, appeals, and complex tax matters.
Belinda Parrish, CRTP
Belinda Parrish, CRTP, brings more than 40 years of hands‑on tax preparation experience. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Accounting. Before joining Gold Coast Tax Services, she spent many years with a major tax preparation firm, where she developed a strong reputation for accuracy, reliability, and client‑focused service. Belinda continues to practice alongside her two partners, providing knowledgeable support to individuals and small businesses year after year.
Brian Mixon, CRTP
Brian Mixon, CRTP, earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from California Lutheran University (CLU) and joined the firm shortly thereafter. In addition to preparing income tax returns, Brian leads the bookkeeping services offered by Gold Coast Tax Services. His attention to detail and practical approach help clients maintain clear, organized financial records that support both compliance and long‑term planning.
